This page is designed to make your visit to Brown as enjoyable and trouble-free as possible. The affiliated hospitals are a distance apart. Therefore we strongly recommend using a cab service for travel between hospital sites. If you decide to drive, please bring a copy of the driving directions below. Directions to hospitals
This section includes directions to affiliated hospitals for your initial overview session in the morning and to each of the hospitals for later interviews.
Hotels
The following is a list of hotels with special interview rates. To receive the discounted rate you should call the hotel and mention that you want the rate listed below. Also, a good idea to check Priceline, Expedia, Travelocity, etc. for better deals.

The Saunders Inn at Brown University

Basic hotel-style rooms run by conference services at Brown and situated on the top floor of a dorm on campus.

Rate: Approximately $109 per night (Mention that you want the Brown Friends and Family rate). Free Parking. Shuttle to local destinations is available for $5.00 per day. In the past, applicants have taken advantage of this service to shuttle them to and from their interview sites. The hotel asks that you check with them regarding your schedule in advance to make sure that they can accommodate you.

Transportation
CAB SERVICES
The affiliated hospitals you will be interviewing at are a distance apart, therefore we strongly recommend using a cab service for travel between hospital sites. If you decide to drive between hospital sites don't forget to bring driving directions (listed below). It is strongly recommended that you call the cab service either the day before or first thing in the morning and give them all of your pick-up and drop-off times and locations for the day. To avoid confusion with multiple cabs transporting so many applicants please be sure to mention that you are interviewing with Brown. Cab service to or from T. F. Green Airport in Warwick, R.I. is approximately $35 and in between hospitals can range from $15-$25.

LOCAL AIRPORTS
T. F. Green Airport in Warwick, RI is our closest airport, a 20-30 minute commute.
Boston's Logan Airport is approximately a 1 hour, 15 minute commute.
AMTRAK TRAIN
The Amtrak Train station is located in downtown Providence. It is a short walk to the Hilton; it is a short cab ride to the other hotels listed above.
