Research Assistant

Research Assistant provides research and field coordinator support to the Principal Investigator of a large research project. The position coordinates and implements multiple research tasks by effectively communicating with project collaborators to achieve project objectives, making decisions on selection of materials, measures and strategies, and anticipates next steps for timely project completion. The Research Assistant updates project staff on related activities and assists PI with reporting requirements.

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent required and research experience as a fieldworker with foreign field work experience.
  • Proficiency in verbal communication and interpersonal interaction.
  • Excellent writing skill. Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Data management and analysis experience using statistical software.
  • Knowledge of research design, measurement issues and sampling.
