To promote competency in nutrition-related knowledge, skills, and attitudes, Brown Medical School has organized a Nutrition Theme Committee. What was formerly the nutrition section of Pathophysiology (Bio 282) will now be woven into five sections of that course, forming a comprehensive Nutrition Theme. This new strategy builds upon the five-year Nutrition Academic Award from the National Institutes of Health, held by Brown Medical School from 1998-2003, with a one year extension in 2004. This website is intended to foster the integration of nutrition education across the medical school curriculum. See the Nutrition Theme section for information about specific course requirements. |
