Graduate education:
B.S. Lafayette College, Easton, PA
Ph.D. Harvard University, Cambridge, MA
Post-Doctoral Fellow, Harvard University School of Public Health, Boston, MA
Research Interests:
The work in my laboratory is focused on understanding the genesis and contribution of somatic alterations in human disease, particularly focused on alterations of the cellular epigenome. The general goal of this work is a better mechanistic understanding of individual susceptibility to exposure-related pathology. Ongoing work is in utilizing genome-scale platforms for identification of DNA methylation and miRNA expression alterations in human tumors and examining their utility as molecular biomarkers related to patient prognosis or treatment efficacy.
