The Primary Care Genetics Laboratory and Translational Research
Center is a new translational research center at the Memorial
Hospital of Rhode Island. The center is dedicated to advancing
generalist scholarship through transdisciplinary genetics research
with its high-thoroughput genotyping facility, partnerships with
other Brown Centers, and international collaborations, particularly
with the Department of Primary Health Care at the University of
Oxford and the Transdisciplinary Tobacco Use Research Center at
Brown University and Harvard University.
The mission of the Primary Care Genetics Laboratory and
Translational Research Center is to advance the state of the art of
primary care medicine through translational genetics research,
education, clinical care, and policy. We are an international center
without walls advancing generalist translational research through
transdisciplinary collaborations with research, educational,
clinical, and policy institutions around the world. |
