BIOL 5720 - Introduction to Fetal Medicine

EVALUATION

Student evaluation follows the guidelines of the medical school. Grading is S/NC, and is based on attendance, response to the 'questions-of-the-week' and completion of an assignment to be prepared for the end of the course: the last session will consist of a mock "MADAM" session, where complex multidisciplinary fetal issues will be discussed in a clinical-like setting. Students will assume the role of clinicians and will be asked to discuss the cases from their assigned role's perspective.

Roles and cases will be assigned approximately 1 month before the end of the course. Click here to see your assignment (you must be registered for the course to access this information).

Date, time and location for the Mock MADAM session:

April 1, 3:00-4:30
Sayles 105

Alternatively, students may wish to develop a project and a paper on a predetermined topic in fetal medicine (to be discussed with a faculty member)
