We are the official representative organization of the Program in Liberal Medical Education, an eight-year program at Brown University that bridges our undergraduate and medical school curricula together. Project HEALTH is a national non-profit organization in which students run health intervention programs at local hospitals that seek to break the link between poverty and poor health. Caitlin Cohen (Brown '08) has been named by FOX's Teen Choice Awards as one of the top 9 youth activists in the US! Online voting will determine if she wins $100,000 to build a health system in a slum in Mali, West Africa. One in four children dies before his or her fifth birthday and 93% of urban Malians live in slums. Vote for Caitlin as often as you can here.
