Student Services

At Alpert Medical School, we strive to help you expand your experience beyond the medical curriculum. These pages are designed to point you toward whatever resources you might need to enrich your experience, both academically and socially. You'll find information about financial aid, academic support services, research and funding opportunities, official policies, student organizations and "extracurricular" activities in Providence and beyond.

The links at left provide helpful information on funding sources and awards that can support, in whole or in part, your academic development. These sources come from within the Medical School and beyond. They can provide support for scholarly experiences, travel to academic conferences, leadership training and research.

They offer consultation to students, faculty and staff who are concerned about the well-being of students. Our appointments are free of charge, our contacts with students are confidential, and we are available when classes are in session.
