Independent Study Proposal
Students are permitted to design and implement independent study programs, clinical opportunities and research projects at Brown and other approved institutions. Students are encouraged to work closely with their faculty sponsor to create a rich and compelling experience based on an identified area of interest.
The proposal for an independent study project can be found here. This proposal must be completed and submitted no less than two weeks prior to the beginning of the elective for approval.
